Okay, so maybe uploading your files won't save your life, but it can definitely make your life easier!

1. To upload your files, login to your Google Drive account via Google Chrome.

2. Click on the red upload arrow (or in the New Drive click on "New") and choose "Folder" (in the New Drive click on "Folder upload").

3. Browse your computer for your "My Documents" or "Documents" folder in the pop-up box and click "OK." (You would also follow this process to upload files from your "Desktop" or another drive location such as a flash-drive, just choose "Desktop" or "Computer" and your flashdrive instead of My Documents.)

4. After a few seconds, or minutes (depending on how many files you have), a pop-up box should appear showing the progress of your uploads.
5. Install Google Drive software on your computer. If you have administrative rights on your computer, you can use the Install link from Google Chrome. If you don't and you are an Aledo ISD employee, you should be able to install by following the directions in this presentation.
6. Pin Google Drive to your computer's task bar to ensure syncing and access your files quickly. To do so, search for Google Drive from your computer's start menu and then right click on it and click on "Pin to Taskbar."
